WHO WE ARE
A student consultancy creating impact
180 Degrees Consulting was founded in 2007 at the University of Sydney. It has grown to become the world's largest student volunteer consultancy with over 80 branches across 33 countries. The organization started with a mission to connect talented and socially conscious students with high potential nonprofit organizations and social enterprises to further their social impact.
The USC chapter started in 2017 to provide more opportunities for students to engage in nonprofit consulting and develop a passion for social impact. While our initial mission has been synonymous with our international parent, we have targeted our focus on organizations in the Los Angeles area. We have also expanded our impact beyond consulting services, working with nonprofits on grant proposals, partnership marketing efforts, and student-volunteer organizing.
